Registration Process

For TU Staff, Faculty & Students

If you are a Tribhuvan University student, faculty member, or staff, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Register" button below.
  2. Use your official TU domain email address to complete registration.
    your_name@your_faculty.tu.edu.np
  3. If you do not yet have a TU domain email, please contact your respective faculty or department to obtain one.

Please Note

  • Only official TU domain email addresses are accepted. Registrations using personal email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) will not be approved.
  • Account verification may take up to 24 hours during normal working days, and may take longer during weekends and public holidays.
  • Once your account has been verified, you will receive an email from MyLOFT containing further instructions for the login process.

For External Members

If you are not affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) or any of its constituent campuses, colleges, or departments, you can still gain access through the following methods:

Organizational Access

For access to TU Central Library (TUCL) subscribed eResources, organizations are required to provide the following:

  1. An official letter requesting access to TUCL eResources.
  2. An Excel sheet containing the full names and corresponding email addresses of all users.
  3. The applicable payment:
    • Rs. 25,000 for up to 100 users.
    • Rs. 200 per additional user for users exceeding 100.

After making the payment, please email the deposit slip along with the required documents to info@tucl.tu.edu.np. The original payment voucher must be submitted to the TUCL Office.

User IDs are valid for one year.

Personal Access

To obtain personal access to TUCL subscribed eResources, you must first obtain Private Membership of TU Central Library (TUCL).
