ISBN Service

Considering the TUCL’s collection, manpower, patrons and the variety of services being rendered to its clienteles, the ISBN (International Standard Book Number) Headquarters designated TUCL as the only National agency for Nepal for distributing ISBNs. It was formally inaugurated on 26th of January 2000. To get an ISBN number one has to fill in the form available at the library or can be downloaded from library’s website. Registration fee is NRs.300/- (Rs. Three hundred) per title. Recently, online ISBN registration has also been started and the titles of the books have been made web searchable. Users are requested to send two copies of the newly published books for depository collection maintained in the library. For more information and to get service, please go to ISBN.
