Tribhuvan University Central Library and Cambridge University Press India jointly organized an insightful interaction program focused on the quality publication of books and research articles across various disciplines. The event took place at the TU Central Library in Kirtipur on August 23, 2024.
The program covered a range of topics related to book publication, including the process of printing quality books through Cambridge University Press India, the intricacies of pre-publication preparation, and the support and facilities available through the press.

Prof. Dr. Binil Aryal, Dean of Tribhuvan University's Institute of Science and Technology Studies, highlighted the university's achievements in research and publication. He noted that Tribhuvan University stands as the largest research university in Nepal, publishing over 1,000 research articles annually. He emphasized the growing capability of Nepali researchers in producing impactful research and scientific articles.

During the event, Girjesh Kumar Tiwari, Regional Manager of Cambridge University Press India, provided an overview of the press's rich history, which dates back to its founding in 1534. He praised the press's longstanding reputation for excellence in the publishing industry. Additionally, Assistant Editors Dhay Vikas Kumar Tiwari and Anvesha Rana shared insights into the technical and managerial aspects of the publishing process at Cambridge University Press India.
The program saw active participation from Tribhuvan University faculty, researchers, and library staff, all of whom engaged enthusiastically in the discussions. The Acting Chief of the TU Central Library has chaired the program.
