The Russian Embassy held a meeting today at the Embassy of Russia in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, between Andrei Kiselenko, DCM of the Russian Embassy and Mr. Sagar Raj Subedi, Acting Chief of the Tribhuvan University Central Library (TUCL). Discussions have been held on scholarship opportunities for Nepali students pursuing Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Library and Information Science at Russian universities, access to e-resource databases for TU scholars, and the possibility of organizing joint research activities between TUCL and Russian academic institutions.
The meeting was attended by Ildar Kasimov, Chief of Protocol, and Anton Maslov, Director from Russian Sites, representing the Russian side, while Mr. Bijaya Sharma attended on behalf of TUCL
This meeting marks an important step toward strengthening academic ties and fostering future collaborations between the two institutions.
